For me, you have to evaluate when this happens from several points of view in the evaluation of a company as an executive advisor and HR business partner and you carry out a job where you observe in a methodical and organized way the chain of processes, behavior and how the employees feel. Employees are very important because it tells you if they are motivated, if they are aligned with the objectives, with the principles of the company and the performance of the work, we are doing a study of the organizational climate.
There is something we must understand in the application of our personal life and our company, when we learn the "art of criticism". Criticism is intrinsically linked to the wisdom of praise or recognition and that is why you have to be.
Be specific For example: If we take a significant incident, an episode that illustrates a problem or a pattern of deficiency due to not having certain skills to perform some work tasks, for the workers of a company it is very important how a line manager is managed , supervisor of the different departments and more about the CEO of the company, so if you do not know how to speak in this line, delegate and criticize and handle all these terms will be totally demoralizing and you will pay high costs even if the best principles are written . (It is like the constitution of a country exists but is not fulfilled”)
For people it is demoralizing to hear that they are just doing it wrong, not knowing what the details are and being able to change (feedback)
We must focus on the details of what the person did not do well and how it could be modified by speaking bluntly, avoiding being indirect or evasive, reflecting on how the real message has been clouded, creating demoralization and uncertainty in people to know where to go they are directed within the company with their work and objectives.
"Being Specific" is as important to both praise and criticism; Otherwise vague or superficial praise adds no value and has absolutely no motivational or learning.
Offer a solution: Criticism should be a useful feedback that should indicate how to correct the problem, a healthy, constructive criticism opens the doors to opportunities and alternatives helps to create new ideas, the evolution of team building and solutions that not even the employees themselves noticed that they existed, this sensitizes the deficiencies that need attention and that should include suggestions.
To worry is to take care of ourselves, it is to teach, share, create healthy work environments or file an environment of trust and growth. Analysis and problem solving are what business leaders do.
